So I spent 9-10 days in Poland and it was such a great holiday! Like any holiday, it had it's ups and downs and the good and bad weather but I've definitely made plenty of memories which will last forever :aww:

A few things I noticed about Poland were:

- Their toilet roll isn't soft and white like over here; it's like sugar-paper D:
- They pile up their grass like little people are hiding inside :D
- The majority of Polish people are really friendly!
- It's such a beautiful country!
- Everything was so unbelievably cheap! For example, 'lody' (ice cream) was only 1 zloty which is around 15 pence over here! O:
- I've never seen a country so religious! As much as I am pretty much agnostic-atheist, I really like how religious they are :) There were statues of saints on the motorway and such beautiful and busy churches! O:

And here is a little day-to-day plan of what happened :D

Monday: Met up at school at 2am and arrived in Krakow airport by around 10am. Took a 5 hour coach  journey to a Monastery in Warsaw. Tried tomato soup and pasta then tried some pierogi. I really wasn't keen on the pierogi. In fact, it made me feel sick ^^;  Settled into our hotel for the night and it was awesome :D

Tuesday: Visited Warsaw National Stadium - not my cup of tea but we all got a taste of Polish sport and culture :) Went to a square in Warsaw and I attempted some of my Polish with the locals and it really helped improve my confidence :D

Wednesday: Left first hotel and travelled to the Polish school where we picked up some of the Polish students travelling with us. Didn't talk for a while but they came around eventually :) Went to a youth hostel in Krakow - what a nightmare! D:

Thursday: Visited Wieliczka salt mines then visited Krakow in the evening. Krakow was my favourite place! :D :D :D :D :D :D :D Me and my friends rode a horse and carriage and had a tour around Krakow and it was so beautiful. I loved the environment - accordions and jazz bands played throughout the city while the tweeting of birds infested the city and it was just so beautiful! The buildings were kinda medieval and really awesome. I would definitely recommend Krakow  :happybounce: :la:

Friday: Travelled to a different hotel (my favourite one) in Bialka and you could see the Tatras from my balcony! Shared a balcony with the boy I like and this proved to be somewhat beneficial throughout the trip ;) Had a bit of a fall-out with some of the girls due to a misunderstanding and this led me to get closer to the guy I like  Went to Slovakia for a while for a change of scenery :)

Saturday:  Tried going solo after the fall-out with the girls and just hung about with the boy I like and it was pretty fun :) Travelled to Zakopane and took a trip up Kasprowy Gondala where you could see all the mountains and it was just soooo pretty! O: Poland is just so wonderful! Went shopping in Zakopane and it was fun but I'm not really into shopping xD There were shops were they sold alcohol and drugs at no age limit. I was like 'WTF?' D: A girl I was travelling with told me she thought 'he' liked me so she was going to ask him that night =p

Sunday: Driver had a rest day so we spent the day starting with mass then having all day at the hotel :) Walked beside the guy I like and one of his friends called his name and didn't say anything so I thought they were saying something about me and turns out I was right ;) Went back to the hotel and grew closer to him but messing around with him having a laugh and he helped me beat someone at air hockey hehe :D Later that evening, he came into my room and invited me into his then we played truth or dare with some other friends. The truth was told and he did a wee dare ;) (nothing dirty, don't worry)

Monday: Visited Krakow again to pick up our priest from the airport then went to Wawel Castle which was alright but again, not really my cup of tea ^^; Then went to Auschwitz which was such a draining but amazing experience! I was so close to crying at parts and it was just so horrible. We even entered the gas chambers and saw the hair of people who had to get it shaved. I felt so privileged to visit such a place and it was really freaky to think I walked on the grounds Hitler once walked on! O: Visited Krakow again because I really love it and met some Spanish and French people and got to practice my languages which was amazing :D The guy I like walked by me in the street and blew me a kiss haha xD Later that night, he asked me out and I said yes but he was really shy about it, in fact, it was really adorable :aww:

Tuesday: He came into my room in the morning and it was like a breath of fresh air really. After all this nervous-ness around each other, I guess we'd finally found that we like each other. Everybody else found out sooner than later and for the first time, we hung out around town as just the two of us. We rode on toboggans (WHICH WAS SO FUN!) and he payed for all of my rides and he wouldn't accept me paying xD He's just really gentleman-like :) We got a chair lift down together which was really relaxing :aww:  When we went to Zakopane, people kept talking about us being a couple and they were making dirty jokes which was just really annoying -_-  Went back to the hotel and it was out last night together so we wanted to enjoy it by making the most of it as we won't be seeing each other for a while ^^; :'( We had a pretty personal and emotional heart-to-heart and never got to bed until 2am! O:

Wednesday: Tried to survive on Rockstar and redbull but it didn't work well xD Spent some more time with him and when we left each other, I didn't want to say bye to him because I didn't wanna leave him ^^; I apologised by text if it seemed rude and I didn't put kisses at the end of my text and he has never done it to me, but this time, he did

So that was my pretty exciting trip about Poland! :) My favourite parts were visiting Auschwitz, practicing the language and immersing in the culture, going up the mountains and meeting 'him'

It just feels so weird to be called somebody's girlfriend now. Not just a girl or a friend but, a 'girlfriend' :P It's nice because on this trip, he's seen me at my best and he's seen me at my worst. He knows about my flaws and things I hate about my appearance (ie stretch marks) yet he still really likes me :aww:  He also knows about my past and he doesn't judge me by it and that's another reason why I really like him :)

I know that relationships always have their ups and downs and sometimes, they don't last forever but this is kinda my first rollercoaster ride with this sort of thing so I just gotta sit back, enjoy it and make lots of memories :)

If you have any questions about Poland or what I have said in this journal, ask away :) I am off to bed right now as I have had a couple hours of sleep! Dx

But I always love to get back to deviants!

And I'll upload my deviations as soon as possible! Byee! :D
