I'm an official University Student OMG !!!!! :D

I did it guys! I got into University! I am now an official Modern Languages Student woohooooo!

I've just survived my first full week.. Ooft, it was a toughy! We had Freshers week on Saturday 13th and that finished on the 21st and it was absolutely fantastic! I've made so many amazing friends and they say that the people you meet during your first week at university are the ones who stay with you for the rest of your life... Which I think is pretty damn amazing!

We had quite a good line-up this year: UV party, Back to School Night with S Club 7, Basshunter (Yes, BASSHUNTER!), Foam Party, Hodor from Game of Thrones (Hodor, Hodor, HODORRR *-*), Rock Night, Hot Dub Time Machine (probably the best night!) and to finish it off we had a UV Paint Party which got reeeaalll messy haha xD My hair was just this sticky, neon mess xD

I think that a lot of the things that have happened to me here have happened for a reason. I may not believe in the God that I've been told about, but I am a big believer in fate. I'm next door to a Polish girl (I'm learning Polish) and we have became so ridiculously close, we're like sisters! There's also a Japanese club which I have started, I've also lost a lot of weight and gained more muscle by being more independent and my room is the top floor of the Halls, so everyday I'm constantly working out in small ways which make a big difference! I'd say that since being here, I've lost about half a stone because I've been eating less, dancing lots, doing everything by myself like washings and dinners, classes etc. I just feel like I was meant to be here... It's the only place I've been to where I actually feel part of something. Like I belong here...

Moving to University and living on my own has probably been the most difficult but worthwhile decision that I have ever made! I'm the only 16 year old on campus but people have told me that I look 18 and act 21 xD 
It's weird to think how much songs can influence your thoughts, since preparing for uni and actually being at uni, I've been listening to songs that I never thought much of before, but now they mean a lot because I can relate to them. Such as "Won't let go" and "Fade Away" by Black Stone Cherry, "Breakaway" by Kelly Clarkson, "U.N.I" by Ed Sheeran etc... If you have read my last journal then you can probably see why these songs mean a lot to me, especially the last one xD

So the plan for this weekend is to study hard but to play harder I've got a few flat parties tonight and tomorrow I've got a Ceilidh with a few friends
