Hey everybody! so I haven't posted since, like, September or something....oopsies xD
Anywhoooos, I hope you are all doing okay, please leave some comments if you wanna catch up!
So I've just finished Semester 1 and I am ready to start Semester 2. My days here on campus at university are no doubt the best that I have experienced so far. I've made amazing friends and memories and have slowly started to become happy with who I am and, I know it's a bit of a cliché, but it's helped me discover more and more about myself and my abilities. I got my results back from last Semester and I got a first for French (70%), a first for Education (83%) and a 2:1 for Spanish (65%)
The one thing that's amazing about here is the fact that you can be whoever you want to be and nobody will judge you or care. I can wear the band T-shirts that I would've got bullied for wearing in high school, I can dress tomboy-ish and not be called "a tranny" or "a lesbian" like back in high school.... My confidence has increased too and I just couldn't care about what anybody has to say about me. I'm finally at a point in my life where I am satisfied with who I am
I finally got over my ex in October-November time and I wished we had stayed friends, but he didn't want that... But, I have a new boyfriend now! We met in November and it's kinda long distance (he lives a few hours away) but I like it better that way because when we miss each other, we talk on the phone and then when we see each other, we appreciate one another a lot more, and he normally stays for a weekend/few days so... yeah, it's great
And you all know the lovely deviant xcxNinuixcx , right? Well, after her visit to Scotland last July, I'm going to be visiting her in Austria in a few months!!!! It's just amazing to think that without this website, we would never have met!
Also, I am going to Poland with my flatmate, Magda in August this year! It's also funny to think that if I stayed and did my last year of high school, I would possibly never have had the opportunity to meet her!
h Poli
I have involved myself in more clubs now that I am at University: I am part of the mountaineering society, the women's basketball team, LGBT+ society and the Spanish society
I've also been improving my Polish and Japanese, too, as my "neighbour" Magda is Polish and we all hang about with Polish people and there's free Japanese classes too!
Medically, I'm a bit confused.... I've been coughing up blood and other horrible substances, I've been hiccuping like crazy and I've not been able to stop coughing. I went to the doctor and I went for an X-Ray but it came back as fine, so I don't know what to do now.... I'll probably go to the doctor's back home in Glasgow and get a second opinion or something....
And last but not least, bloody fitness! I am finally getting there, FINALLY! I have 6 hours of basketball a week + 2 hours of zumba + mountaineering excursions and the gym plus fitness routines I can just do in my room. The scales don't say I've lost much weight but I've started to say "Screw the scales" as long as I feel healthier, I couldn't give a damn what the scales say xD
Sorry for the long journal.... it's been a while and lots has happened! haha and congratulations if you read the whole damn thing! xD Like I said, leave a comment or send me a note if you wanna catch up. Despite the 2 essays I have to do, I'm off for a week so I have a bit more free time
Byeee!

I'm back - bye bye depression, hello happiness!
Hello Deviants!
Jeez where do I even start? Haha ^^;
Not sure when my last journal was written but it was about my mental health. Now I can proudly clarify that I am not letting it beat me. I've been through hell with it (missing out on fantastic degree-related opportunities, losing some friends along the way, encountering a level of self-loathing so great that I couldn't even live with myself...etc etc.) But now here I am, alive and well and not looking back; only forward! :aww: (yay for optimism)
I got so sick of just laying around and drowning myself in my own little pool of self-pity. One morning I just woke up and thought, "Rig
Mental Health Awareness Week...My Story
Hey guys...
As some or many of you may know, this week was Mental Health Awareness Week. At the university, we had two spokeswoman in from the local hospital telling us all about mental health and it really hit reality. It is said that in the UK, depression is the 2nd most disabling illness and around 10-15% of the British population have depression and/or anxiety. The talk was supposed to go on for 2 hours, but I had to leave after the first hour of listening to them talk about depression and anxiety. I couldn't take it anymore.
Since around March/April time, personally, things became quite serious. A lot of things were going on in my life
Back at Uni! :)

I had such a fantastic time and I really do miss it all sometimes xD It was my first time travelling to Austria and I just fell completely in love with it... Everything was so beautiful and the people were so lovely and I just felt right at home :aww:
